Description: A sales strategist is a person with responsibility for the formulation and implementation of a strategy within a business. This involves goal setting, innovative trade ideas and assists in the marketing of those trades to clients. 

Knowledge Required: Ability to navigate large and complex organizations, deep understanding of wide range of industries, markets and brands, able to manage multiple business initiatives in an entrepreneurial environment, psychology and math. 

Skills: Sound and responsible sales counseling and planning, innovator and influencer, creative, highly motivated, strong interpersonal, project management, abilities, presentation, verbal and written communication skills. 

Career Path: Bachelors and Masters in Business or Marketing is preferred. One must gain over three to six years experience in brand, marketing, communications strategy in integrated, brand and digital communications.
